Associate Veterinarian
Full Time and Part Time Opportunities Across
PetWellClinic offers a more sustainable way to practice small-animal medicine. Our clinics open at 11:00 a.m., so your mornings are your own. You will not perform surgeries, cover overnight shifts, or take emergency call. When your shift ends, your workday ends; there is no inpatient caseload and no taking work home.
Within a defined outpatient scope, you will provide preventive and wellness care, diagnose and treat minor illnesses, and help manage chronic conditions for dogs and cats. When a patient needs surgery, hospitalization, or emergency care, we coordinate a referral to an appropriate full-service or emergency hospital.
Focus on practicing medicine
Many pet owners struggle to find timely care when appointment availability is limited or cost is a barrier. Our walk-in model helps more pets receive accessible and affordable preventive, wellness, and minor illness care. You can spend your day examining patients, solving medical problems, and helping clients make sound decisions for their pets. If helping animals is what brought you to veterinary medicine, this model gives you more opportunities to do it.
A sustainable role for experienced veterinarians
If you have spent years being the person everyone turns to, this role offers a more focused way to continue practicing. You do not need to be the surgeon, emergency doctor, hospitalist, and practice manager all at once. Your experience and clinical judgment remain central to the job, while a defined scope and referral relationships let you concentrate on the medicine you enjoy.
Local ownership and clinical autonomy
PetWellClinic Phoenix is locally owned and operated, and we are building our clinics for the long term. We are not owned by a corporate veterinary group or private-equity firm. Clinical decisions stay with the veterinarian and the client, not a distant ownership group telling you how to practice medicine.
