Middletown Veterinary Clinic has been serving the Middletown Valley, Frederick and surrounding areas for over 55 years.  Our practice treats canine, feline, small exotic mammal pets, select reptile species and an occasional goat patient.  Associate veterinarians are expected to see canine and feline patients but an interest or experience in exotics is a plus!  

Over the past several years, we've upgraded most of our clinic including an updated surgery suite, renovated treatment room, expanded our exotic species seen, upgraded our dental & ultrasound equipment, improved our full in house lab capabilities, expanded our in house orthopedic and advanced diagnostic services and opened an additional exam room.  Echocardiograms and advanced surgery procedures are offered in house with traveling specialty services.  Our Chief of Staff (practice owner) offers select orthopedic/advanced surgical procedures, ultrasound studies and is on call for clients 24/7.  Recent/new grads and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to apply.  

We're constantly growing and are looking for a part time or full time associate DVM to become part of our team!  We offer a unmatchable balance of lower than average full time associate hours with equal or more pay compared to our competitors.  

With consideration of part or full time and various levels of experience, compensation will be commensurate based on these factors.   For full time candidates, we're excited to offer $2K for CE per year, 3 weeks PTO per year, 401K, quarterly bonus incentives on top of hefty annual salary and additional perks! Full time DVM associates expected to work Tuesday-Thursday and every other Saturday mornings which creates an average weekly hours of 32-34 hours and a 4 day weekend every other week!

Requirements

Active license in Maryland to practice veterinary medicine and a positive attitude!
