The Hometown Veterinarian was founded in 2018 by Dr. Grant Jacobson with a clear and heartfelt vision: to provide exceptional veterinary care rooted in integrity, compassion, and community. From the beginning, Dr. Jacobson set out to build a practice where pets receive personalized, comprehensive medical attention—and where veterinary professionals feel respected, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Our clinic has grown steadily over the years, expanding services, investing in advanced medical technology, and earning the trust of clients not only in Marshalltown but across Iowa and the Midwest.
