Cy-Fair Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our growing team in Addison, Texas, just north of Dallas. This position is ideal for a confident and efficient veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine in a fast-paced urgent care environment while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

This role focuses on evening urgent care cases, bridging the gap between general practice and emergency medicine. You will provide timely care for non-life-threatening urgent conditions while collaborating with a skilled support team and a well-established hospital.

Schedule

• Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling options available
• No overnight shifts

About the Role

The Urgent Care Veterinarian will manage a variety of urgent medical and minor emergency cases including:

• Acute illness
• Lacerations and wounds
• GI distress
• Minor trauma
• Allergic reactions
• Pain management
• Diagnostics and treatment planning

This position allows you to practice advanced medicine without the demands of overnight emergency work.

Experience in emergency or urgent care medicine is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• DVM or equivalent degree
• 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
• Comfortable managing urgent cases independently
• Excellent communication and client education skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to compassionate patient care
