The team at Slade Veterinary Hospital, Inc. is a dedicated and highly skilled group of animal care experts. For over 70 years, Slade Veterinary Hospital has demonstrated progressive veterinary care throughout MetroWest Boston. Today, their reproductive services reach clients around the world.
Medical Director
$150,000-$170,000 based on experience
Plus, a sign-on bonus
Relocation bonus eligible!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries in pets, primarily dogs and cats, providing surgical and medical treatment
Collaborate within our veterinary network and communicate effectively with referring veterinarians
Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to maintain expertise in your field
Lead and supervise the clinic team, working alongside the Hospital Manager on financial matters
Partner with the Regional Operations Manager and Hospital Manager to uphold high standards and deliver superior patient care
Administer core vaccinations and provide wellness counseling to clients
Perform dental procedures
Contribute to creating an enjoyable workplace environment for staff, clients, and pets

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
Internship training is also preferred but not required
Eligible to obtain MA Veterinary License
Experience or interest in reproductive medicine is a plus, but it is not required.
